The StopGap initiative is always ready and available to visit schools and organizations! Presentations can be honed to specific curriculums but are generally themed around inclusivity and equity, recognizing change as opportunities to experience new things and overcoming fears of the unknown. Through telling my story and sharing some of my own experiences living with a disability I engage audiences by inviting participants to try accomplishing daily activities my way in order to shed light on a different way of life, a very fulfilling life despite my disability.
Here are some pictures from a recent presentation at Summit Heights Public School in Toronto.
